B Vitamins May Reduce Stroke Risk

B vitamins may reduce stroke risk according to a new meta-analysis of 14 studies.  B vitamins help to reduce levels of toxic homocysteine.

High levels of homocysteine can cause a lot of problems from heart health to brain health.  Many studies have been done to see if reducing these levels with B vitamins would reduce risk.

Gathering data from 14 studies that looked at this problem, the authors concluded that B vitamin supplementation reduced stroke events.  There are 3 specific B vitamins you need to support healthy levels of homocysteine.
