Omega-3’s are essential for your health and now new research shows it may decrease depression.  Omega-3 fats reduce inflammation in our bodies, including our brains.

In a new study, adults had their diets analyzed and their mood assessed.  They found that among women, those getting the most omega-3’s had 49% decreased risk of depressive symptoms.

The ratio of omega-3’s to omega-6’s were also related to depression symptoms.
