Vitamin B6 & Your Colon Health

Many people take a multivitamin everyday to make sure they get at least some of each of the vitamins and minerals they need.  A new review of one of those vitamins, B6, gives us one more reason why it’s important.

Researchers looked over previous studies on B6 and colorectal cancer.  What they found was that B6 coming from diet and/or supplements have had some mixed results, but the active form of B6, pyridoxal 5′-phosphate, has had consistent results showing about 30-50% reduction in risk.

Your multivitamin may or may not have the active form of B6.  You can take it separately or a great multivitamin that does have this form is PureOne Nutrients.
