Why Aren’t You Taking Magnesium?

We have previously discussed the benefits of magnesium here.  Next to fish oil and vitamin D, it is one of the most recommended supplements.  A new study shows why this essential mineral is so important to your health.

Researchers followed over 7,000 people with no known heart disease for an average of 10 years.  During that time, 462 had ischemic heart disease (IHD). 

When compared to their urinary magnesium excretion, those with the highest levels had a lower risk if IHD than those with the lowest levels.
