A Plant Based Calcium?

Our bones are so important to our well-being especially as we age.  Most adults exercise and take supplements like vitamin D and calcium to improve or maintain their bone density.

The only way you can tell if you’re making any improvements is by getting bone mineral density tests.  One type of calcium supplement has been studied and measured the effect on bone mineral density (BMD).

In the study, one hundred and fifty eight adults had their BMD tested and then were supplemented with a calcium supplement derived from algae for six months.  At the end of the study, there was a increase of 2% in BMD which is actually quite significant.
